Choose one of the extracts from the openings of novels hand out and write a second paragraph, in the style of the original first extract, following directly on from the opening paragraph. Try and adopt the same voice of the narrator and use a similar vocabulary, sentence structure, register and mood used in the extract.
And choose one of the extracts above and write an analytical paragraph discussing one of the aspects we’ve discussed in class.
This work will be handed in on Thursday 26 September.
