HOMEWORK TASKS
- Write 3 / 4 analytical paragraphs addressing the issue of the presentation of the Germans in If This is a Man. Select your quotations from different sections of the text.
- Write a commentary on the prose section of the paper 1 exam paper given out on Thursday 17 October. You should aim to spend no more than 2 hours planning and writing up the commentary.
Do not write your commentary on the poem. We'll use this poem in class later this term.
In the paper 1 exam in MAY you will be given two questions on the poem and prose extract. One question will focus on matters to do with content. The second question will focus on form, language and style. Your commentary must address these two questions. You do not need to address the two questions directly in sequence but your commentary must answer the questions.
