We will study a short selection of the short stories. We'll begin with An Encounter, Araby and Eveline.
Please read these three short stories immediately and carefully in preparation for our lessons. You should make notes on the stories using the same questions we used to discuss the openings of novels.
You should also keep a reading journal. See the course guide given out to you on Friday and the post I've written about the journal.
I expect we will study another three stories from the collection. These will be A Strange Case, Two Gallants and Clay.
